EEA/EU Family Visa

Documents Required

All documents must be presented in original plus one photocopy. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Application Documents:

• Completed visa application form (signed by the applicant).
• Printed and signed application checklist.
• Valid passport or travel document:
  • Must have two blank pages and be valid for at least three months beyond your return date.
• UK Residency: A UK eVisa printout from UKVI with a valid share code.
• One passport-size photograph:
  • Full-face, neutral expression, white background, not older than six months.

Business-Specific Documents:

• Letter from UK employer (dated within the last 30 days):
  • Confirming the applicant’s position, purpose of travel, and travel dates.
  • Declaration of financial responsibility from the employer.
  • Attach last three payslips as proof of employment.
• For self-employed applicants:
  • Certificate of incorporation.
  • Recent business income tax returns or dated within the last 30 days.
  • Last three months’ business bank statements.
• Invitation letter from Italian company:
  • Must be dated within the last month.
  • Include reason for visit, duration, and company details.
  • Copy of ID/passport of the signatory with visible signature.
• Italian company business license (Visura Camerale):
  • This document must be valid and verifiable.

Travel and Accommodation:

Proof of Travel

• Round-trip flight tickets or Eurotunnel/ferry reservations showing passenger name, dates, and travel details.
• They must be fully paid, and report the full name of the applicant/s as per passport. 

Proof of accommodation:

• Hotel booking confirmation for the duration of the trip.
• The hotel must be paid in GBP or EUR; foreign agencies and currencies are NOT accepted; priceless hotel vouchers are NOT accepted

Insurance

• Travel insurance covering all Schengen countries:
  • Minimum coverage: €30,000 for medical expenses, hospitalisation, and repatriation.
  • Must be issued in the UK or Schengen country.

Proof of Finance:

• • Bank statements from the last three months showing regular income (e.g. salary, pension, universal credit).
  • For sponsored trips: official sponsorship declaration with supporting documents.

Additional Requirements (if applicable):

• For citizens of Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Iraq:
  • Original birth certificate or consular declaration with full names of both parents.

Photo Specifications

Applicants must submit two recent passport-sized photographs that meet the following specifications:

• Background: Light (white or off-white) background, ensuring clear contrast with facial features.
• Quality: High-quality, clear, and in focus—no shadows or glare.
• Expression: Full-face, neutral expression (no smiles). Eyes must be open and visible.
• Accessories: No sunglasses or tinted glasses. Head coverings are only permitted for religious or cultural reasons; facial features must remain visible.
• Dimensions: Standard passport size (35mm x 45mm).
• Recency: Photograph must have been taken within the last six months.
• Format: Printed on high-quality photographic paper and attached to the visa application form.
